Dance | Theatre | Production
I’m Susan Ojala Myers. I have been teaching dance to students of all ages and abilities for over 20 years. I hold a BA in Dance Performance from Northern Illinois University, as well as certifications in multiple specialties, including Autism Movement Therapy. I currently live in southeast Wisconsin with my husband, Eric, and our three children.
To teach dance is a great responsibility. The youngest of dancers need to be taught with care, preserving the growing body as well as the developing self-image. Older, serious, dancers need to be prepared for the dance world, with a strong technical base and understanding of both the techniques and the history of their chosen career path. All students, no matter their age, facility, or intent, are the audience on which the dance world depends. Knowledge and appreciation of dance will ensure the future of our art form.
